I didn't try the Primal Rage contest but I did play the Earthworm Jim contest. I whipped through those levels as fast as I could and called the number at the end. Have you ever heard of the Sega Netlink? It's a 28.8kbps modem for the Sega Saturn. It came with a webbrowser disc that could be used to "surf the net" but could also be used to play against other people. If you remember old modem games in the mid 90's it worked like that. By direct dialing eachother and playing on a direct connection over the phone lines. So the Netlink games still work to this day. If you've got a Saturn you should get a Netlink...you can usually get one on amazon for like $5-20 bucks. This is a fantastic post. I totally forgot about this game. I vaguely remember playing this on Sega Channel. Also in Maine (Portland). Of course I was 5 years old at the time, so although the game seems familiar to me, I mostly played some Richard Scary game, wherein I recall painting a ship one section at a time. And my neighbor used to come over and play the game Greendog. I also remember dirtbikes. I definitely have good memories about Sega Channel, I just wish it came out a little later in my life so that I could still be using it. Wow! This is a fantastic post.
