Even if the documentary outright claims otherwise, or it’s not discussed as much, the music produced by early video game systems (mainly the Game Boy) is so signature that it spawns its own techno genre. This is just an example of how influential video games have been and will be. There’s more where this came from. Check out the I am 8-Bit book and art exhibit if it does a travelling. It does not have much to do with modern video games, but those games will get their fair share probably ten years from now.
